San Jose Passport Agency
If you've got international travel penciled into your schedule later this year, then you're going to need a passport!
If you're slated to travel internationally in the next two weeks, then you've got some work to do!
Your best option is a rush passport, unless you have to leave in the next couple days in which case you'll need an emergency passport.
With that said, the best resources for passport information are listed below.
In particular the Santa Clara County Recorder offices located at the corner of W. Hedding St. and N 1st St. offers passport photos, so if you're trying to get your passport turned around quickly, this would be the most efficient use of time.
For rush passport and emergency passport services we recommend sending your information overnight both to and from to the U.S. Department of State to be finalized.
In order to be issued a passport you must bring proof of citizenship such as your birth certificate as well a government issued ID or driver's license. You must also bring 2 pictures of yourself taken within the past 6 months. There are passport photo services you can use to acquire the appropriate pictures.
